thanks to Simmi and his lovely friend Lisa, I had a chance to see parts of the island I could only ever see far in the distance from RVK.

apparently the power-like snow that had fallen a day or so before in the mountains was in fact 2 and sometimes 3 feet of snow? i think i have a serious national geographic complex now.

amazing landscape, as per usual, and a bright crisp day, followed by some more country-side driving, my week is now complete.

also, that was a damn good burger.

(un)fortunately, i have discovered muscles i never dreamed existed until today. my glutes and i will hopefully decide to make up tomorrow.
