do it. DO IT NOW! velkomin DUBLIN.
final days. love. love. love
miss . !
so, wake up in a new country.
after some freak turbulence.
heart strings under some stress. lift off. 8 people on a huge empty plane headed south.
'island hopping' as the man at customs says. since when was coming to a country so easy?
severe auto-pilot your way to a bus, to a cab, to a hostel at some ungodly hour. hungover. get up after a few hours sleep, take a walk, find MANY payphones. is this pay phone utopia? no. its Dublin. and they are very picky how they operate. !!!. phones, people... people, people. remember how to conduct yourself in busy civilization again. remembering how to walk in crowds, not jay walk, keep up to speed; these are not mossy fields. i will find some hopefully. also, there are many CULTURES in one again. after months of white homogenization. JESUS. where am I. how am i gone from island one already? call An and Smari. asked them how the ride home went. recall the stress free desolation of airport in Keflavik, and how people here speak english, yet the strain on your ears for close listening skills is utilized far greater than in a country where it is peoples second language. thick, thick accents! fast speaking. nodding. close listening skills. you people sound amazing. recall the absolute greatness which was my final week in Iceland. so many great people whom i love so. this is stage one of weening myself back into real reality, and slowly landing myself closer to home. sort of. a small percentage of me has forgotten how to let go, and start fresh. 3 months is a strange amount of time. island love.
